Stuck on Socks NO MORE!

Over-jammed, unorganized, unmanageable, and lost another sock yet again!  These may be some words that can be adequately used to describe your sock drawer.  If so, no worries - you are not alone and there are several strategies you can use to better organize your sock drawer in a very short amount of time.  Just look below!

  • Dump all your socks out of the drawer and figure out which ones do NOT work anymore so that you don’t have useless items crowding your sock drawer.  You can dispose of or give away the ones you no longer can use.
     

  • Sort any remaining pairs by category (i.e. stockings, taller dressy black socks, dressy socks, tall white socks, ankle socks, etc.).
     

  • Utilize a shoe-size (or smaller) plastic container that can fit into the sock drawer to containerize strictly 1 type of sock or footwear (i.e. stockings).  This makes it super easy to retrieve these types of socks when you need them.
     

  • Place socks into the drawer, but arranged so that each category of sock has its own space within the drawer and is easy to recognize.

So go ahead and get at that drawer so you don't get stuck on socks again!  :)
